Business Colleagues

Brand Management

VWS uses techniques to increase the perceived value of your product line or brand over time. Our effective brand management will help you protect your brand, build a loyal customer base, and also helps fuel your business profits.

One of VWS’ favorite aspects of brand management is to help our clients manage their brand. Our first step in your brand management plan is to protect your intellectual property. Unprotected brands are easy to steal and exploit.  These steps include, but are not limited to:

  • Clearing brand through a trademark search so clients do not spend significant resources on a brand that may already have been taken

  • Registering and maintaining those marks.

  • Creating branding guidelines for employees and third parties (including in social media).

  • Protecting trademarks against counterfeiting and gray market activities.

  • Policing brands.

  • Managing internet domain names.

  • Creating revenue opportunities through trademark licensing.

We ensure the innovation of your product or brand and create brand awareness via the use of price, packaging, logo, associated colors, and lettering format.

We increase your brand equity (the value your company gains from its name recognition), by enabling it to be the popular choice among consumers even when compared to a generic brand with a lower price point.

Business Office Management

VWS office management services involve the planning, design, and implementation of work within your organization and offices. This includes creating a focused work environment and guiding and coordinating the activities of office personnel to achieve business goals. These activities are evaluated and adjusted to improve and maintain efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.

Contract Management

Contract management encompasses everything from establishing the business case and confirmation of need - through to relationship management and reviewing performance.

Contract management is often overlooked key skill and is not something to be handed over to another department such as legal. Contract management is the engine that drives true value across the supply chain and should stay with dedicated VWS professionals.

Our contract management plan ensures:

  • Arrangements for service delivery satisfactory to all parties

  • The expected business benefits, efficiencies, and value for money are delivered

  • The supplier is cooperative and responsive

  • Your organization understands its obligations under the contract

  • There are no disputes or surprises

  • Professional and objective debate over changes and issues

Trademark/IP Management

When managed effectively, intellectual property can be a critical growth driver for your organization, impacting branding, product development, revenue opportunities, processes, and more. A lot of successful companies like Apple, Disney, Google and Microsoft invest time and money into trademark protection.

By registering your intellectual property helps protect your brand’s reputation. A trademark/service mark can ensure that your brand name, logo, and even specific design features. A copyright can ensure your websites, computer programs, pictures, books, photographs, songs and movies along with other original works of authorship.

Is your brand registered? Yes or no, we can get youv registered and/or manage your brand to success. We protect   your brand, product, concept, or artistic works, websites, computer programs, pictures, books, photographs, songs and movies along with other original works of authorship with a federal mark, so other people or organizations cannot legally use your intellectual property without permission.  We do the policing - which may include preventing someone from causing consumer confusion by enforcement that include sending cease and desist letters.

Media Communications Management

When it comes to communications strategy, developing and maintaining a comprehensive PR infrastructure is time-consuming. For your growing organization, our media management services will help bring calm to the storm with a solution for proactively shaping the conversation.

Our media management offers a way for organizations to build scalable communications strategies into their wider marketing plans without the commitment of a full-scale communications department.

Our approach to media management is based on careful infrastructure planning and development. Our goal is to build a virtual communications hub for your organization; one that’s capable of providing in-depth public relations strategy, handling ongoing media requests, and even providing you with powerful comms-based business intelligence.

Event Management

We turn dreams into reality. We weave stories into every thread of your event. And conjure wonderfully collaborative magic to create celebrations that are both unmatched and unforgettable.

One secret? We listen. To understand who you are. Who you want to be? And who (and what) matters most to you. We leave no stone unturned, no detail untended to, no possibility unexplored.

That’s because the most beautiful event is also the smartest event, and we take pains along every step of the way to deliver both. The initial concepting conversations and the design work that realizes your vision are so intrinsically linked, that one literally cannot exist without the other. And when we layer in the flawless execution that has become the very essence of who we are, the results are simply spectacular.

Project Management

All projects are a temporary effort to create value through a unique product, service, or result. All projects have a beginning and an end.

They have a team, a budget, a schedule, and a set of expectations the team needs to meet. Each project is unique and differs from routine operations—the ongoing activities of an organization—because projects reach a conclusion once the goal is achieved.

VWS’s collection of proven techniques for proposing, planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating projects, combined with the art of managing people, defines the effectiveness of our project management expertise.

The life cycle of VWS projects has five stages:

•    Stage 1: Visualizing, selling, and initiating the project
•    Stage 2: Planning the project
•    Stage 3: Designing the processes and outputs (deliverables)
•    Stage 4: Implementing and tracking the project
•    Stage 5: Evaluating and closing out the project

Relationship Management

Contractual arrangements may commit the organization to its supplier(s) for some time and to varying degrees of dependency. It is therefore important to make the relationship work effectively by developing mutual trust and understanding, creating an open and constructive environment, and contributing to the joint management of the contract delivery.

It is primarily through the development of mutual trust and confidence that the other elements for success are created. As the supplier gains a greater understanding of your organization’s business needs and style and develops a level of confidence and trust, it will be more willing to be proactive and innovative in bringing forward improvements and savings to mutual benefit, more willing to share problems, plans and concerns, more willing to negotiate and more confident in investing for the longer term.

Your organization also benefits by gaining a greater understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the supplier, enabling it to concentrate its management and development support in those areas.

Travel Management

VWS travel management specialists manage all business trips for our busy professionals, as well as entire organizations. We also set the corporate travel policy, handle the duty of care and risk management, and help the company navigate global business travel in an efficient and effective way.

This includes:

  • Booking trips for travelers (not only c-suite executives but employees in any role).

  • Helping individual departments track their travel spending so they can stay under budget.

  • Providing travel support to travelers before, during, or after their trip.

  • Selecting and managing any travel vendors or travel tools used.

  • Working to negotiate corporate rates on hotels that the company uses often.

  • Booking group travel.

  • Organizing ground transportation like rental cars or rail.

  • Analyzing company travel spend, or delivering travel spend reports to the CFO for analysis.

Social Media Management

VWS manages your online presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter by creating, publishing, and analyzing content that you post. We also include engaging and interacting with social media users.

Our social media management offers several benefits, including:

  • Cost: No matter your marketing budget, social media is a cost-effective initiative. It’s free to join social media networks, post content, respond to user comments, and more. Even social media advertising offers a profitable channel for reaching your audience and building an online following.

  • Reach: Social media networks, from Facebook to LinkedIn, can connect you with users across the world. You can also use social media platforms, like Pinterest, to reach niche audiences. Traditional marketing and advertising can’t match the reach — or price — or social. That’s why social media management is a must for businesses.

  • Users: Incorporating social media into your marketing strategy allows you to align your marketing initiatives with user behavior. For example, 74% of people now use social media when making purchase decisions. Not to mention, 80% of people get advice about purchases through social media.

  • Performance: Marketers and business owners alike agree on the performance of social media marketing and advertising. Via social, companies can build their brand and even generate leads and sales.

With social media’s multiple advantages, it’s worth considering for your business marketing strategy.
