Jolanda Linwood

Founder, Business Management & Support Agency

Jolanda Linwood is the CEO of Virtual Workplace Solutions; the agency she founded in 2019.

With over 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship, management, business planning, operations, and decision analysis, Jolanda has the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly understand entrepreneurs' businesses and craft the most suitable solutions.

Jolanda was voted Woman of the Year in 2009 and is a member of the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce and Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. She also earned her master’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of San Diego, SOL, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. She moved to Carlsbad, California in 2017, where she currently resides.

After graduating from the University of San Diego, School of Law with a Master of Science in Legal Studies, she worked for a prestigious law firm while setting her sights on business management. Jolanda found that her passions were a perfect fit for the unique intersection of business management and support. She recognized that entrepreneurs and small businesses needed closer attention and more personal guidance. It was like a light bulb popped on because she struck out on her own, launching VWS to find like-minded professionals with a passion for serving and protecting clients and their businesses.

In whatever free time she has, Jolanda is involved with a variety of industry’s biggest charities and speaks regularly on the topic of business management.
